WHAT WE DO

KANAAL is many things - we’re a publication, a community and an advisory company wrapped under a cozy umbrella. Our big goal is to exponentially grow African’s creative industries - art, fashion, music, digital content and film.

To do this, we share advice and insights that is relevant to the business side of creative industries. We also work with corporations and development institutions to design and implement programs that positively impact creative industries. As creatives ourselves, we ideate and execute on exciting (sometimes experimental) projects, exhibitions and films in collaboration with the creatives that are part of the KANAAL community
